Ravens beat Rams on wild walk-off punt return touchdown in overtime
Kareem Elgazzar-USA TODAY Sports

Former Oklahoma State standout Tylan Wallace made one of the most spectacular plays of the year in the NFL on Sunday. With the Baltimore Ravens and LA Rams game tied at 31-31 in overtime, Wallace simply took matters into his own hands on a punt return. He then somehow eluded seven Rams defenders and turned on the burners down the sideline for a jaw-dropping 76-yard punt return to win the game.

It’ll certainly go down as one of the best plays of the 2023-2024 NFL season, there’s no question about that. The Ravens won the game 37-31 and they’re quietly playing like one of the best teams in the league. With the win, they improved to 10-3 overall. It’ll be interesting to see if they can keep it going in the upcoming playoffs.

Wallace was one of the most decorated players in Oklahoma State football history during his time there. He became just the 14th player in Cowboy football history to earn All-American honors in multiple seasons. Not only was he named a Biletnikoff Award Finalist in 2018, but he also brought home first team All-American honors from multiple publications (The Sporting News, ESPN).

Wallace hauled in over 100 receiving yards in 14 games during his time in Stillwater, ranking him with the fifth most in OSU history.

Once he hung up his cleats there, Wallace ranked among the school’s all-time greats in several statistical categories: receiving yards (fifth), receptions (fifth), receiving touchdowns (sixth), yards per catch (sixth), and receptions per game (seventh).
