According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Saints have signed safety Roman Harper to an extension.

My understanding is that Roman Harper now is signed through 2015, so he tacked on an extra year...
Roman Harper Signs “Extension” With The Saints
Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported earlier in the day that the Saints had renegotiated the contract of S Roman Harper.
Ian Rapoport reports that Harper actually received an extension that will add another year to his contract.
According to Rapoport, Harper receives $4 million guaranteed in 2013.
