Wallace's Walk-Off 'A Movie'

On the Los Angeles Rams' first offensive possession of overtime, the Baltimore Ravens defense forced a three-and-out and a subsequent punt from the visitors.

The punt would end up being the last play of the game, as Tylan Wallace returned it 76 yards for the game-winning touchdown to give Baltimore a 37-31 victory.

"I was prepared to go back on the field, I thought it was gonna be like a fair catch or something," quarterback Lamar Jackson said. "People on the sideline yelling 'you got time' and I guess he heard it. He just went crazy, that looked like a movie. I was saying in the locker room that he just showed his butt, he just showed his tail, and he's just showing off. And man, that was just a spectacular return. That was crazy."

Wallace caught the punt and took off down the left sideline, breaking multiple tackles and managing to keep his balance before finally doing a half-flip into the end zone to seal the win.

The 24-year-old wide receiver has mainly been used as a special teams player for most of his career. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma State and hasn't been very productive up until this point.

In three seasons, he has recorded six catches for 56 yards and has never caught or rushed for a touchdown. This year, he has not caught a pass yet through seven games. His punt return touchdown against the Rams was the first touchdown of his professional career.

Baltimore will be trying to maintain control of the one seed in the AFC next week when it takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road for Sunday Night Football at 8:20 p.m.
