As Hannah Sparks wrote for the New York Post back in May 2021, gender reveal stunts often go viral for reasons that individuals involved would prefer to forget. Specifically, people have suffered serious injuries related to such events, and one family even allegedly started a forest fire via a reveal.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie found a safe and unique way to reveal the gender of a baby during what became a 31-10 win over the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams in Thursday night's NFL regular-season opener.
As John Breech noted for CBS Sports, McKenzie caught a touchdown pass thrown by quarterback Josh Allen in the third quarter of Thursday's contest.

After McKenzie celebrated the score with some teammates, he located an NBC television camera and yelled the words "it's a boy" for the world to hear (roughly 17 seconds into the video clip).
The Bills shared on Friday that McKenzie was doing a gender reveal for his sister, who is expecting and who was enjoying a gathering with loved ones during Thursday's game.

Breech did ask an interesting question: What was the plan if McKenzie didn't reach the end zone or make a highlight-reel play during the game? Perhaps the 27-year-old will want to keep such information private in case he needs a different celebration/reveal down the road.
