Seattle Seahawks rookie receiver Jake Bobo caught his first NFL touchdown just three weeks ago – a five-yard reception in a 37-27 win over the Carolina Panthers.
It’s safe to say Bobo’s second touchdown catch was much more memorable, as the 25-year-old wideout made a spectacular one-handed grab, beating Arizona Cardinals cornerback Starling Thomas V in the right corner of the end zone for an 18-yard score.

The play was reviewed but the touchdown stood as referees ruled that Bobo got both feet down in bounds.
Per NextGen Stats, quarterback Geno Smith's pass traveled 42.3 air yards before it reached Bobo and the play had a completion probability of just 15.9 percent. Bobo’s touchdown gave the Seahawks a 14-10 lead with 4:47 left before halftime. He also had a career-long 31-yard catch earlier in the first half.
It’s the second time this season that Bobo has had multiple receptions and his 49 receiving yards (as of this posting) are also a career best. The UCLA alum saw more playing time in Week 7 with D.K. Metcalf sidelined with hip and rib injuries.
