Leicester eyeing Spurs midfielder Winks

Leicester are looking to sign Harry Winks from Tottenham in a surprise move.

The midfielder was on loan at Sampdoria last season, where he struggled with injury issues.

Per The Telegraph, Spurs and Leicester have been in talks regarding James Maddison.

While Spurs have not matched Leicester's asking price, Winks did come up in the talks.

A Winks plus cash deal that takes Maddison to Spurs is not beyond the realms of possibility.

Winks would have to agree to drop down to the Championship, but Leicester would offer him regular football.
